Biography

Sebastiaan Eeltink, conducted his post-doctoral research at UC Berkeley (USA) and subsequently won an Odysseus grant to establish a research group at the VUB. Currently, he is full professor and his team aims at the development of novel column structures and microfluidic chip technology for modulation in 2D-LC and spatial 3D-LC, and advances (2D-)LC-MS workflows to characterize contemporary biopharmaceutical and life-science mixtures. One of his students (Dr. B. Wouters) won the Solvay Award for best PhD Thesis. In 2020 he will chair the International Symposium on Hyphenated Techniques in Chromatography (HTC-16).
